Court Stops Adamawa Bye-Election Orders INEC To Swear- In Former Deputy Governor

A Federal High Court judge in Abuja has sacked Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State today and ordered that James Ngilari, the former deputy governor to impeached Governor Murtala Nyako, be sworn in immediately.

                                                                                         

Justice Ademola Adeniyi also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to suspend preparations for elections scheduled for Saturday in the State.
